Checkpoint Q2-2013
I revel in the tasks of creating and manipulating data structures. In the way each entity combines with or transforms another, as I define their relationships which each other and craft the paths which they are operated on, slowly molding each and every element until they form a coherent picture of what we then call information. But I wouldn't say it;s like painting. The art of programming is at times more like landscaping and sculpture, though I've often compared it to poetry - which it truly is - or perhaps a perverse method of orchestration, where we arrange everything in all possible permutations we could muster for you, the user, and place the baton in your hand, to discover what you can do, what you can make, in your own way. Synthese von kunst und handwerk am bau, always.
